Kevin Anderson on the TV deal, Save Our Sports campaign

Normally I don't pay much attention to this kind of thing, but given that FSU, Clemson, and so on have all already weighed in on the TV deal, I was intrigued to see what Kevin had to say, knowing full well it'd be the party line. But if this is the party line, it's kind of a lame one. Basically: won't help in the short term, won't help save sports, but hey, we'll get the non-revs on TV and start getting money several years from now, so it's a win for us and the conference. Pretty unconvincing, if you ask me. Now, commence conference realignment rabble. (As a side note: predictably, most of the sports look dead in the water. Damn sad. But track is doing well and has a chance. If you have the financial well-being to support a program, of course we encourage you to do so. Track honestly looks like it could make it, which would be wonderful considering the University's long history with the program.)
