Transferring: A Saner Model

An article published in the Chronicle of Higher Ed. The writer proposes that D1 schools look at the model used by D3 schools. Apparently, students at D3 schools dictate what schools can contact them as they consider where they want to transfer. I think that it is an interesting idea, but I am not sure how that works. It does seem that students should have more power over the transfer process. Anyway, I thought people might enjoy the read given the recent discussions of attrition.
