The Maryland angle comes in first part of the article in which Urban Meyer's pursuit of Stephon is described. After reading the story, I was even more impressed RE and ML were able to close the deal on Steph D. No surprise there, except that it gives you a better sense that sometimes the grass is not always greener. RE may not be anybody's wet dream of a coach but he's certainly not in league of his own when it comes to rubbing people the wrong way.
