The Harrisons are off and running, I mean flying, to the USA Elite team's beginning play in Tourcoing, France on April 7th. Tourcoing is close to the Belgian border - I would enjoy this tourney if able to swing by some Belgian breweries for some serious ales to go with some Belgian mussels :)
From 1995-2004, NYC's famed Gauchos squad has won the tourney. In more recent years, a combo of US AAU players have made the trek to bring home the title. Team America won in 2007, but Team Belgrade (Serbia) took the crown in 2008 and 2009. It appears the tourney wasn't held in 2010 or 2011 (not sure why).
This squad is a combo of HS Srs. and Jrs., so Nerlens Noel and DaJaun Coleman are on the squad. The Harrisons should be feeding the post quite a bit. Jermaine Lawrence (Forward) is another Jr. whose play I like.
