News Break: Michigan transfer Evan Smotrycz has committed to the University of Maryland.

I don't know a lot about the guy, other than that he's big and a very good outside shooter. I assume he would play the 3? Seems like a nice addition for Turgeon - he obviously liked what he saw this weekend and scrapped scheduled visits to Colorado and Providence (I think). Assume he will have to sit out 2012-13, but be eligible to be a part of the Harrisons-led National Championship season in 2013-14.
