So, is anyone planning on making it out to watch the spring game for football? I'd be interested if someone could bring back a report on it if they do. I'm really interested in how offensive line is progressing, especially with the tackles flip flopping, as well as the play of CJ Brown. Also interested if the WRs still have those stone hands they had last year, and whether Nigel King is developing nicely. Don't really care about the RB spot as much, because Wes Brown and Albert Reid aren't there yet and I expect either one of them to be starting or contributing major time in the game by mid-season.
On Defense, I'm really interested in how the line holds up now that they've switched to the 3-4. Mainly, are they holding their gap responsibilities? The 3-4 really needs the line to hold their responsibility for it to function properly, so that is key.
Three notable names that have confirmed on twitter they are attending the spring game are Abner Logan Jr, Michael Parker and Jalen Tabor(!). Interestingly enough, Tabor was in the area on Thursday but no one was there to show him around (or so the tweets say). I shot the question at Parker saying Logan would be there with Tabor a possibility (mentions on twitter for those who don't tweet) and Parker confirmed with a re-tweet from Tabor confirming it.
Hope they like what they see! What do you all think are the biggest spots we want to see improvement on in the game?
