Stefon Diggs neeeeeds to play both sides of the ball for Maryland in 2012. He could have been a top 100 recruit on defense as well, as his highlight reel is almost equally as many defensive plays as it is offensive. He can lay down some massive hits and of course can run with the best of them. He can shut down every team's best receiver and would be one of only a few exciting players to watch on a defense that was the worst in the ACC last year. But most importantly, cornerback is the Terp's weakest position on the field. Diggs can instantly change that. Chism, Hughes and McDougle were horrible last season. With those first two graduated, McDougle and some guy named Jeremiah Johnson are listed as the starters for this season! That does not bode well. Maryland doesn't get top 10 football recruits very often, so I think it is pivotal that they squeeze every ounce they can out of Diggs for the 3 years he is here. How can you possibly disagree?
