Football recruiting news - Parker and Kendall Fuller updates

Been a little bit since we discussed some football recruiting, so lets do some updates. This week Michael Parker (not the basketball one) committed to play for the Terps. He is a 4 star "athlete" out of Nokesville, Virginia who is 6'4 200lb. He was projected to play DB/S or WR in college, but when asked on twitter, he responded with "It's all about the defense." So there we have it, he is playing defense. I personally think he'll be playing Safety (Kenny Tate size), but he could move to OLB depending on how much he bulks up this year. There is some concern, as there is rumor of some grade issues and that is why he was not recruited by Virginia.

Kendall Fuller, the 4/5 star corner out of Good Counsel, appears to be on an unofficial visit to Tennessee this weekend. I'm thinking it is unofficial because he appears to have driven there (he tweeted about people in Virginia having on too many pairs of Wranglers...). Either way, he seems to be enjoying himself, tweeting pictures of Knoxvilles town sign and this picture of him in the Tennessee locker room: http://t.co/BgksRA0M . So far, it appears that he is definitely considering Tennessee, and Virginia Tech has been considered the one to beat since his brothers attended. Not much on the MD front as to whether he is considering or not, the last we saw was him attending Diggs commitment ceremony. I'm a little concerned that he has unofficially attended Tennessee already, already considered a VT lean, and we haven't seen much on the MD front. He hasn't retweeted any MD stuff, as I jokingly replied to him about the wrangler tweet that he could avoid it and stay home to rep #terpnation ...but with no reply.

Other than that, I haven't seen much on the MD recruiting front for football. I'm sure we'll hear more as the spring and summer progress. Edsall tweeted out earlier today that Jeremiah Johnson, Alex Twine and Cole Ferrand did not participate in the first spring scrimmage due to injury, but that none are expected to be long term. I'm guessing this is more precautionary than anything, as he does not want anyone injured in off-season workouts.

Anyone else heard anything on the recruiting front?
