Was bored tonight and came across a new mixtape of 2012 target Sam Cassell, Jr. that I thought everyone might like. Obviously it's a mixtape so they are only going to show highlights, but it nevertheless looks pretty impressive. Looks like he has a pretty smooth shot, which Maryland obviously could use more of sooner rather than later. I'm not really sure what to think as far as adding another guard to this year's class (I realize Turgeon and company know a lot more than everyone else on this site does about possible attrition, 2013 possibilities, etc.), but if we do add another guard I think Cassell would be the one who I prefer (Baltimore kid, good bloodlines, and nice height for a guard). Also, I have nothing to base this off of by any means, but I just get a sense that Cassell is going to crack some of the rankings when all is said and done (most likely the Rivals 150). I'm a fan of teams with height for the obvious mismatch reasons and it is intriguing to think of a possible line-up at some point in a game that could have Cassell, Faust, Layman, Len, and Cleare.
