Nebraska has very few options regarding basketball and Scott Spinelli would seem to be a huge upgrade for them. His performance when Turge got tossed at Miami was pretty amazing-he really seemed to embrace leading the squad

Keep in mind Nebraska lost to UMBC a couple years ago-they are that bad-so I'm thinking he could do better especially if Maryland starts winning 25 games per year again. If Spinelli does happen Maryland could look for another X's and O's bench guy because the recruiting half of the house seems well taken care of at the moment. Personally I'd like to see Bruce Weber as he has the coaching experience and may share Turgeon's midwestern sensibilities. He's well liked in the coaching fraternity from what I've read and may want to get out of the midwest for a while.

Failing that I'd love to see Juan come back and coach. I'd have to think he'd be able to make Stoglin and Faust better and would be great for recruiting and keeping Maryland's guard play at a very high level. Its a pipe dream perhaps but with Juan getting near his mid-thirties coaching may begin to look like a good option.
