duke steals game from UNC

PrintJust watched the end of the duke/NC game. Rivers hits a 3 pointer with no time left to win the game for duke. UNC lead the entire 2nd half until that shot. Unreal esp. in Chapel Hill. Zeller missed a free throw to give duke the chance to WIN it with a 3 and well..they did.
I sure hope they are now SPENT from that big comeback and play poorly enough this weekend so the TERPS can steal a game of their own.

And well they should. Not every 7 footer can make 3 blunders in a row in the last 25 seconds of a high rivalry game. What a dufus.

He basically won the game for duke…other than Rivers’ 3 at the buzzer. Sure hope this is better for us on Saturday. If duke would have lost back to back games, I think we’d be in more trouble. We’ll see…..

I like
the USE of capitalization to EMPHASIZE that we have a chance with winning. I kid, but yeah, if Duke had lost I think we would have had even less of a shot. With that said, I don’t think we have no shot in Cameron. We can’t expect Duke to shoot as badly from 3 as they did against us last time, and we’re terrible on the road.
I hate duke as much as the next guy
but the look on the unc fan’s faces was absolutely priceless.

Too funny. ESPN Classic is showing last night’s Duke-UNC game & the 2001 “Gone in 54 Seconds” Duke-Maryland game back-to-back at 8 tonight.

2001 was a rough year,
the gone in 54 seconds game and then that final four game. The natty made up for all in 2002 though
Excluding deaths of family or friends, I don’t think I’ve ever felt worse than after that gone in 54 seconds game.

Michigan State
I dunno….the last second loss against Michigan State n the 2010 Tourney was pretty bad too. It took me a whole year to get over it…even now…it’s hard to watch replays of that loss. We really had a chance…especially since Michigan State ultimately made it to the Final 4

And I still want to kick Jason Williams in the crotch so many times that his voice changes permanently.

I’ll be there with a buddy who snagged tickets, I really don’t think we have a shot, but if everything went right, it would probably be the greatest sporting event I’ve ever gone too.

I think we did a great job of stopping their 3 point shooting last time, it was their bigs that gave us problems. If we can learn how to box out, and not give second chance points, we’ve got this! Stoglin vs Rivers should be interesting lol!

They're definitely at least a 2 seed
Sure they’ve lost some games, but losing by one point to two top 10 teams in kentucky and duke and a fluke loss shouldn’t take them out of the top 8
