Our Lady of Good Counsel

Rivals just came out with updated football rankings for the 2013 class. Our good friends at Our Lady of Good Counsel have put forth yet another great class of to be college stars. This coming class includes Kendall Fuller the #4 overall rated prospect who plays DB and Dorian O'Daniel #37 overall ranked who is a LB. Now I understand that this is still far off but I definitely hope that Locks is doing what he can to get these kids to UMD because these kids would truly start a trend of top level prospects making their way to College park in the future. They also would headline a revamped defense that I think we all hope can be shut down in a few years. Then in 2014 it would be amazing if we could also bring in JALEN TABOR. Now I'm probably being extremely hopefully and I wouldn't be surprised to see Fuller and O'Daniel elsewhere but if we can really start a pipeline from schools like Gilman and Good Counsel I see no reason why in 2014 or 2015 we cant be up in the top 10 in the nation. Does anyone think we have any shot?

Of the prospects that will be on most sites fianl 2013 lists

We have the greatest shots with

Adam Breneman
Derwin Gray OT already visited unofficially twice(criminal he’s not on rivals list)

The rest we’re not really involved in heavily YET.

I can't keep up with how many unofficials Breneman has taken

I’d say we have a legit shot to land Breneman out of all of them. Fuller and O’Daniel should be a lot easier to have a shot with now that we have 4-5 of their teammates. It is easier to pull the stay home at the local school when people like Brown and Reid stay home (I’m afraid to jinx Diggs at this point).

One Qustion

How come Good Counsel never has a high major QB? Scotty McBrien was the last one they had, but he transferred to DeMatha.

Area does not produce great QB's

Must be something in the water around here but rarely does any team around here produce top notch QB’s.
