Saturday’s Visitors (students: do work)
Sorry to add to all the fanposts lately (bc it’s getting a little out of control), but I thought this was very important...
STUDENTS:
My connect sent me a list of the people who are coming to the basketball game on Saturday.
DO WORK
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
basketball:
Rysheed Jordan, Phil Booth, Kris Jenkins, Roddy Peters, Romelo Trimble, Leroy Butts
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
football:
Stefon Diggs, Adam Breneman, Jarrett Ross, Shane Cockerille. Bucky Hodges, Dave Williams, Dajuan Drennon, Mike McGlinchey, Greg Webb, Myles Nash, Marcus Newby, DeAndre Lane, Tre Bell
There will probably be more added in the next 24 hours; feel free to add them below.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think it would be sick if one of you students bought 20 or so posters (or at least 10 and cut em in half), put each kid’s name on a different poster, and passed out the posters to different students throughout the student section.
How often does a junior basketball or football player who is not a top 20 recruit see his name on a poster at a basketball game? Not very often. As for Jordan, Diggs, and Breneman: go cray.
Make it happen, students. DO. WORK.

That's a massive, massive list.
Getting a Jordan visit is MASSIVE, and Booth is supposed to be a stud as well. Show love to both.
On the football side, Diggs, Breneman, Williams, Drennon, and Newby are all huge visits as well.
Don't forget Ross
If anyone deserves love, it’s him.
Wow, that is a huge list
I dare to say, do we have more for the UNC game than we did for Duke?
Wow, very impressive list
My favorite FB player on that list is David Williams. I know RB isn’t a area of need and won’t be for atleast 2 years but that kid is awesome.
The biggest visit of course is Stefon. But, after him it’s Breneman, Williams, Drenno, and Webb. We already know about the first two. Drennon and Webb are a Dline duo on the same team in NJ, Timber Creek if I’m not mistaken. Every team that has offered one offered the other as well. Maybe it’s another Brown/diggs situation. Anyway, their offer sheets apiece isn’t filled with lightweights either. For them to visit and show interest is a bit of a surprise and good news to me.
also...
Kris Jenkins
Roddy Peters
Romelo Trimble
Leroy Butts

Whoa, this list is massive!
Shows that our recruiting has stepped up considerably, even since the Duke game. For those of you going to the game, give ’em hell!!
The last Terp BBall game I went to was UNC, and we beat them in a close game. Forget what year it was.
Just got back from the game
Student section was absolutely electric, needless to say. Chants for Stefon Diggs throughout the game and he stood up and waved to us multiple times. Seemed like he wasn’t used to getting the love we showed him today from any other school.
As for the other guys, some people in my section tried to get a Breneman chant going but it didn’t really work out. I hope the rest of them just fell in love with the atmosphere that we all know Maryland fans are capable of bringing. Our teams are young, and the future is loaded with potential
Good stuff
All of Diggs’ other visits were just regular campus visits, no games or anything like that. So he definitely never got that sort of experience. Not surprised to hear that the “Breneman” chant didn’t work, that’s a bit tough to coordinate.
He went to a Bball game at tOSU. Their students didnt really do anything special
But he def. went to a game, I saw a picture of him and Urban Meyer there
DeAndre Lane
He goes to my high school alma mater. Basically carried the team to states this year playing RB/CB. During my time there, we were never a powerhouse but we fielded respectable teams. Can’t remember the last recruit to go D1, might have been a RB that was even before my years there. DeAndre’s a little small but he definitely has the frame to put on 15-20 pounds, I’m curious as to what position Maryland is recruiting him.
Catonsville, right?
Didn’t Catonsville have a LB a few years ago that plays D1 now? I think he is D1-AA because he was too short, and he switched to FB for school. I remember the Sun talking about him all the time, he was a hell of a football player. Well anyway, Lane will probably end up either being a RB or CB. Swaggerterp has some info on him, I recall him actually bringing him to my attention a little while back.
pregame at looneys
diggs was also at looneys before the game and the whole place cheered ‘we want diggs’ for him
That works
I thought he slipped him 50k but yours is good too.
