EJ Levenberry
So, we can most likely scratch him off the list. According to Mike Farrell at Rivals, he is down to Florida State, Florida and Michigan.
Apparently he has been down to his final three for a while and it will be hard for other schools to make their way in. Given our current LB class that came in, it isn't a huge loss, but it always sucks if we lose local talent to another ACC School. I'm sure getting tired of losing players to Florida State (Eddie Goldman and Ronald Darby this year). Levenberry is a ESPN watchlist LB and is ranked in the top 150-250 on almost all recruiting sites that have put up 2013 rankings already.
Those with Insider access can check it on the rumors page of ESPN College BB. I'm taking a wild guess it is on rivals too since Farrell came out with the report.

His dad has been pissed off at RE for a while
I doubt we ever had a shot at him anyway
Let the Brown vs Levenberry rivalry continue
Wes Brown: When I’m mad, Stefon picks me up and tells me to get my head back in the game and run the darn ball (laughs). That gets me right? That pretty much happens at some point every game. Against DeMatha I was getting into it with EJ Levenberry, their linebacker. I wasn’t going to say anything, but he kept talking. He was saying some things I couldn’t ignore. It got to me a little bit and I said something back. But Stefon quickly grabbed me, slapped my helmet and said, ‘Get your head back in the game.’

Dorian O'Daniel is the better college player anyway
And no, I’m not bitter. I think Levenberry is a beast. Levenberry is the better pro prospect with his frame, sure tackled-ness, and he has more of a mean streak in him , but O’Daniel is faster, a better pass rusher, and more importantly goes to Good Counsel.
I’d rather have O’Daniel in Maryland’s defensive scheme since he’s more athletic, but both would have been huge gets.
Also funny that Houston Defender's Derrick Griffin is a top 30 prospect
on both Rivals and 247. I remember how we all wanted him. He’s a Texas A@M commit btw.
Also a question
Thinking about buying a subscription to one of the recruiting sites. However which one? 247 Scout, Rivals or ESPN? I want more of an emphasis on Football recruiting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Depends on what you're looking for
Team-specific, it has to be 247 or Rivals, because they’re the only two with active Maryland sites. If you don’t care about that and just want to read articles, watch videos, etc., probably Rivals with ESPN (for the evals) and Scout right in behind. 247 is the youngest of the bunch and has the fewest articles.
I'm a suscriber to both IMS and ESPN
It’s just like Ben said, 247 is going to give you the more Maryland coverage by far, especially considering ESPN is investing heavily into the major programs and giving them their own sites basically, like the LSU’s, etc. I’m on ESPN more for their NFL Draft, March Madness and baseball insider coverage.
I’ve never been a member of the Rivals site, but from everything I hear a lot of people have a bad experience with the guy that runs it.

At the same time ESPN insider gives you access to other things
However, when I had the free account for a month last year, I found a lot of it useless. For example, just about every Caps-related rumor was just from the WaPo Capitals Insider blog.
Rivals may be the best for Fball. Plus they have terrapintimes which is MD specific as Ben pointed out

I have ESPN
I don’t hate it, but for recruiting purposes they aren’t the best. If you want more all around coverage of sports, they would be the place to go. They also give you the magazine for free each month as well, which is pretty decent.
Levenberry was the first guy to go public with the "Edsall isn't recruiting me" stuff even though we never had a shot
Maybe he’s a good guy, but that sort of action screams Kendall Marshall-esque attention diva.
EJ is a good kid. Dad grew up in Takoma Park and I saw EJ wearing a bit of Terp gear playing bball with my son over the years.

Judging by the comment above
He doesn’t seem like a good kid. Granted, we don’t know what was said to Brown, but still it doesn’t sound good.
Every good player rarely loses focus during the game
Sounds like Stephon Diggs is one of those rare players. Plus, he helps his teammates keep their focus, which is an added talent. Really like this kid. Maybe he can help keep RE focused!!
Focus
Maybe Diggs can call the time outs for RE since his game control sucked at times last year.

Go Good Council! Thats a thing we can say now right? Im from new york and knew nothing of the two school until i came here but hey this is more fun. Maryland is becoming Good Council 2.0 anyway
It ain't over until the big fat man sings
And then it still may not be over until I get this little piece of paper out of my pocket. You got a pen?
