PrintAnybody know if there is a Duke game tomorrow? I thought there was but it's so quiet that I worried maybe I missed something? Anybody else find it eerily quiet the night before a Duke game? What's up with that? Where are the erratic and twisted revulsion comments? I've got the strangest feeling there's gonna be an upset... call me crazy and all but I thought it yesterday too. Why not? They happen all the time in sports... anybody out there to banter about how lousy Duke culture is...

I don’t know about all that behind the bench, sit on your hands nonsense… I think K and Wojo can take it if you cheer for MD. When did they get so sweet? If they want you to fake it for the TV or their precious head-space then they are a little too sensitive for my taste, but then again, that’s why I hate their elite culture. This is college hoops… people cheer. Everything isn’t under control… and you don’t have to act like an undergrad. In think you ought to take the seats and be yourself and they should be able to handle it. Man, … over thinking it. Besides, would you give the same deference to St. Mary’s? i think the ref’s will take care of precious Duke…
Man, I’ve hated those guys for a long time… it never mellows either. I hate em when we win and I hate em more when we lose, and I simply hate Duke every time I see them play. And I don’t care how good K is, I can never understand it when a kid wants to go play there for him and for them. It’s unreal how loathsome they are, and obviously some people aspire to that… I can’t wait till the game tomorrow. Most recently it brings back GV winning that huge game late season game to set us up to co-win the regular season. Ahhhh…. winning the game v Duke is always such a pleasure. Tomorrow can’t get here soon enough. Doesn’t history tell us it’s easier to win at Cameron that CP? After that last close match for 35 minutes, are we favored tomorrow since we are playing there?

Duke hates a rough, physical game (might ruffle their panties). Put out a zone to stop the 3’s (please better than Zeller) There will only be about 1000 students attending (avg is 700 so far this season). Hopefully they haven’t stopped celebrating their UNC win.

with Peshon out the only guards we have are Stoglin, Mosely, Faust…you don’t want to run those guys ragged trying to press. We don’t have enough depth at the guard position.
I'm ok with the press
but only when Len and Barely White are in the game. You press when Pankey and Padgett are in the game and be prepared for Ryan Kelly hitting 3s and Mason Plumlee dunking.
