Raiding our Neighbors for FB Recruits and Transfers

Looks like Mike London pulled a play from Edsall's book last season and fired a bunch of his coordinators. Among the interesting ones fired was Shaun Moore - who you may recall was a QB for the team in the 90s and whose son Michael Moore did not produce Farenheit 911 or Roger & Me but was highly recruited DL out of Dematha and was a freshman on the team.

So my question is, should Randy take a few pages out of MT's playbook and get a bit creative in terms of attracting talent from other schools? PSU does not have the scholarships to keep their guys and all have the right to leave PSU without sitting. We are leaving the ACC, so the ACC mandated 2-year sit period for a transfer within conference gets waived. We know UVA took more kids from GC than MD got, most of whom were recruited by ACs who have been shown the door. Heck, if any of them are still verbal commits but unsigned, they have effectively just become free agents....Diggs, Brown and Madaras need to start working the cell phones.

Seeing as how UVA is the enemy in my book I would take more pleasure in taking some of their good players and recruits than even from PSU. They would sit for the ACC farewell tour but then would be immediately available for B1G play. Some of y'all recruiting junkies that are more plugged in than me probably have better insights.

And on a final note - UVA won four games while playing experienced QBs the entire season. We won four with AMACLHG wreaking havoc on our team. That counts for something. But what would really count is if Randy could pull some of the talented UVA & PSU recruits and players into the MD fold.
