There's a lot of chatter about a possible UMD move to the Big 10 sooner rather than later. It is starting to show up on twitter that there have been legitimate talks and that Rutgers is in the discussion. Some are also saying Penn State may get the boot and that the NCAA is not done punishing them. Here's a taste:

I would hate the move but I can see the upside ($) from the school's perspective. The biggest positive, though, would be saying goodbye to ESPN3 and finally having games on TV. Hello Big 10 Network!
