So yesterday was a just a bushel of fun. But it's over now, and today we return to the real world, with the battered, bruised football team visiting Clemson. There's no Stefon Diggs, no Wes Brown, no Demetrius Hartsfield, and still no quarterback. And they're visiting a Clemson team deserving of their #13 ranking.
Don't come in with any expectations. Any. Maybe we'll be surprised; can't really be upset if not.
Game kicks at 3:30 on ESPNU.
Random, Baseless Prediction: Shawn Petty throws a first-half touchdown to Nigel King.
Prediction: Wish I could see a path to victory, but there isn't one. And there's a good chance that the final score line is quite lopsided. Maryland's defense is on the verge of falling apart a little bit, and the offense without Diggs or Brown has no teeth. I'd think the final margin would be something along the lines of Clemson 37, Maryland 10. And I wouldn't be disappointed with it.
