The running backs are listed as co-starters despite Edsall saying earlier that Justus Pickett and Wes Brown are the guys, but I think they're still just playing games there. More interestingly: Anthony Nixon is listed as the starter at safety. He got a game ball from Edsall on Saturday, so clearly he did something right.

Great time, once again. Every game that's not a noon kick (or the infuriating 12:30, which is like a noon kick only lamer) is a bonus to me. It's also on ESPNU, so actual TV FTW. Assuming there's no Dan Hawkins in the booth, this time.

Poor ol' Chessmaster. Well, the negative part of this is that there's a chance the defense improves, since Groh had apparently lost the locker room. Here's hoping it has the opposite effect and throws things into a state of disarray. Everyone knows Maryland can stop GT's offense, but if they can put up some yards on their D, this game's definitely in play.

Kansas gets a commit from PG Frank Mason
Mason's a local kid - playing with Damonte Dodd at Massanutten, actually. A lot of people are saying this is big for Roddy Peters, and it may be. I don't think Kansas will stop pursuing him, and I doubt he's scared off by Mason, who's a Plan B type. But hopefully it's just enough to give him pause.
