So with the addition of Notre Dame recently, the ACC has once again changed it's basketball scheduling. As you may recall the first new plan was to go from two rivals to one. This team you would play twice ever year. We lost Duke and Virginia and ended up with Pitt. I think most people were okay with this, however NC State fans were angry because they lost their home and home with UNC, which of course kept Duke. But now with the addition of Notre Dame, the two rival home and home is back. Maryland now has Pitt and Virginia. I'm ok with losing the Duke home and home every year. The Duke rivalry was really a recent creation that only started when UNC decided to take a few years off. We have a great rivalry with Duke now and we hate them, as well we should, but it wasn't a historical rivalry. I do like getting Virginia back. Here is the complete list.
