It seems that the NCAA, in its infinite wisdom, has decided that the sins of Bob Wade have not yet been sufficiently atoned for. This afternoon, they denied the University of Maryland's appeal for Dezmine Wells to have immediate eligibility. There is still a further appeal process available, but let's be honest, it's extremely unlikely that it succeeds.

This is extremely disappointing for Terp fans. With all of the bad karma surrounding the legs of the football team, one would have thought that we could catch a break. Apparently not. Still looking forward to the Barclays Center Classic, but just a little more apprehensive about it.
