This probably would have worked better as a fan shot but I don't know what to link to so here's your notice that the MD Women's Soccer team will face off against Miami at Ludwig field on Sunday at 1 pm (weather permitting, of course). The Terps finsihed the ACC regular season 6-3-1 tied with Virginia, Wake Forest and North Crolina but go in as the number 2 seed by virtue of having won the head to head matchups with all 3 of those teams. The Terps dropped a 1-0 overtime decision at home to Miami just over a week ago.This is the game that ended in a brawl with Terrapin leading scorer Haley Brock and 2 Miami players receiving red cards so I'd expect plenty of chippiness and a tighly officiated game. I have a previous commitment to volleyball on Sunday that I can't break so I won't be able to attend but will have a report regardless. Special note to HGR - Volleyball plays at home tonigh and Sunday and will have the same schedule next weekend and I sympathize with your FH experience, man.
