I guess that settles that. I find it a bit peculiar that he left the St. John's visit and was planning to visit Maryland, then cut it short, changed his mind, and committed to SJU. 99.9% sure that it just means he liked SJU enough - particularly the space on its roster - that he was sure it was the place for him. That 0.1%, though ... well, one word: Harrisons? (As in either the staff wants to make sure there's room, or Branch was sufficiently wary of the playing time split.) Contrary to popular belief, I would've welcomed a Branch commitment and liked him much more than most of the point guards on Maryland's radar in the 2013 class. But I also won't fret over it while the Harrisons are still out there for the taking.
