Maybe I missed something along the way, but I thought the prevailing rumor was that Bradford was out and that possibly Larry Johnson Sr. or Randy Shannon could be an option. Then I began to hear that Shannon may take a job somewhere else in the county. Since that time I have been unable to find anything about the Defensive Coordinator position. I only ask because I imagine that would be a critical piece to have in place as recruiting is in full swing and there are still some significant targets that have yet to declare/commit. My initial thought is that since neither Shannon or Larry Johnson Sr. are on staff at this time, they would have open access to recruits in much the same way that Locksley did before his hiring was official. So putting the power of the bloggoshpere to good use, since no one has responded to any of my comments in any of the football related posts, does anyone have any new information?
