True Story about an ACC Rival
I did not graduate from Maryland, though I was born and raised a Terps fan since I was a baby. I am from Maryland, but played college baseball in Tennessee, which is where I reside now with my family.
I enjoy the University of Tennessee since my wife went there. Great football atmosphere, blows the ACC away even when they have a crap year.
Anyway, I was at the gym working out last night, I had my Maryland Football shirt on and a Mid 50 year old guy asked if I would spot him on the bench, I said sure and he could barely pump out 4 reps of 185 before I had to save him. He made a comment on my Maryland shirt and then replied "really the Terps" and I figured I was talking to a Tar Heels fan and I asked "well who's your team", he replied "Duke". He asked me to spot him again and I agreed, after the fourth rep again he needed me to lift the bar up, but before I did so, my true colors came out and I said I will, but you have to say "I FEAR THE TURTLE" before I do and he did. Dukies are such bitches.
FEAR THE TURGE...GO TERPS!!!

since here is no way my weak ass would ever bench 185 i wont make fun of him for that
but funny story
Liking it
I thought everyone would love it. I thought to totally blow him off after he told me he was a Dukie, but something inside told me to say yes to him when he needed another spot.

For sure...
There has to be someone that can locate this kid. Kind of like tracking down Jeffrey Meier, who played some college baseball in Connecticut.

Jalen Tabor would have tea bagged him
I like the spur of the moment decision though.

Awesome story. Good thinking El Goodd..
A Duke fan at one of our NC offices mailed me a Duke #1 foam finger last year when she found out how big a MD fan I am (and discovered how much I despise Duke and Ratface). She asked what I did with it, and I told her it was amazing that it was a perfect fit for the urinal in the men’s room on the floor of our office building. I said that every time I go in there to use the bathroom, guys are waiting in line to use that specific urinal to piss on the foam finger when there are other stalls sitting empty. Touche’…….
Nice!!
I did the same thing with a UNC sticker (I used rubber gloves to stick it on). As it turned out, there were more Duke and NC St. fans in the office than I expected. The sticker stayed for over 2 weeks.

you were like the bully HS kid in Louie C.K.'s show
and tells Louie to politely beg him to not beat the crap out of him (Louie’s w/ a date) or else he’ll kick his arse. Good work!

As a Duke alum
and Terps fan, I find this great.
LOL…AND he said it.
99.9% awesome
you get a .01% deduction for not saying (after he lifted that last rep after saying “fear the turtle”) “I must break you” and walk away.
Too bad your hands didn't suddenly become slippery
Good story. Go Terps!!
