One of the Greatest games I've ever attended - 2/21/09
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M634Eqte9AE
Gary fist pump :06 mark (of the film)
ABC was all over it (TT/Ben moment) - 1:45 mark
Gary/GV Chest Bump 4:24 mark
NC 17, GV 16 at 12:55 game clock mark.
Final MD 88, UNC 85 - overtime
GV 35 Pts., 10 Assists, 11 Rebounds, 2 Blocks, 2 Steals
Classic GV pic - 8:13 mark
Particularly watch the 2:01 mark of the film - #5 points and says "Someone take that guy... nevermind..." - no look pass!!!
I remember how giddy Gary was when he signed GV - it just took the rest of us 3 years to figure it out (GV was Jr. in this game I believe).
I bet Roy has to admit one of the single most impressive performances he's suffered through
I remember it taking hours to get out - way past midnight - and I didn't care, nor my boys, a lick!

I remember this game, I was there.
This is probably the best game I’ve attended probably better than the Duke game in 2010 because it signified much more than the Duke game, it was the beginning of the short stint of success we would have up until GV graduated. Not to mention rushing the court. That was an amazing experience.
Dear Passionate fan, I know you are passionate, but please reply with a logical answer or I will ignore you.

I was there as well..
Sat a few rows behind the UNC bench…This was my favorite game I ever went to while at the school. I’ve never seen Comcast as loud and crazy as it was when regulation ended. The place was a freaking zoo…
Watched it in Raleigh, NC
with my younger brother who’s a UNC alum. One of the best individual performances by a Maryland player. Also in a women’s NCAA tourney game that same year, Marissa Coleman had 41 and 18
I remember this because. . .
they gave out shirts that said “Wear Red” and then wore the gross yellow jerseys. FAIL.
Never forget that game
Vas was out of his mind. One of the greatest individual performances I’ve ever witnessed live, any team in any sport. Also a great birthday present.
Greivis' performance that day
Is the best individual performance ever by a Maryland player. To score the first 16 points of the game is just insane.
not going to deny GV's brilliance that game
But it made me want to share this. Had a coworker that went to UNC. He was at the Dean Dome in 86 when Len Bias went HAM and delivered the Tar Heels their first loss in the Dean Dome. He said it was the most dominating performance he’d ever seen; and that included Jordan.
I remember watching this game.
Dean Smith said it was the single best performance from a player he had ever witnessed from any player. Bias single-handedly exterminated the Tar Heels. Plus, it was Dean’s first loss at his dome.
