But they’ll bounce back. I’ve got full faith they’ll win the one at Comcast in February. Duke shot the ball really well today. But Alyssa Thomas had a terrific game, had 26 points with 7 minutes left until Duke finally figured out how to stop her. We got out-rebounded though and that was a big difference. Hard to grab just 27 boards at Cameron and win.

Let’s hope the men can fare better against the Blue Devils Wednesday. It’ll be real tough but I remain optimistic. Maybe we’ll have some Gary Williams magic and pull off the upset.

It was a tough loss. They seemed to have raised their level of play a bit from the previous few games. They might have been able to pull this one out if they’d had a bit more consistent 3 point shooting. And it’s the second time they’ve been out rebounded buy a quality team on the road. Let’s hope this doesn’t become a pattern.

First of all we lost the first 10 minutes of play because South Carolina and Vandy went into overtime. It wasn’t something that made me happy but I can understand it. What I couldn’t understand was the crappy announcing and the crazy camera angles. The announcers didn’t seem to take note of anybody playing for the Terps other than Kizer and Thomas. And then it was same canned response over and over. (Alyssa Thomas worked on her jump shot over the summer) They consistently confused which player was which more so for the Terps than for Duke. At times they got really confused as to what was happening on the court. Clueless babblers.
There are plenty of good annoucing teams coverering the women’s game. So why did we get the z team?

It was a very good game, just a couple missed 3’s at the end did us end. We should’ve made those. But regardless, they still played great.

I agree with the announcers as well, they didn’t say anything except repeat the same thing over and over again.

how great Duke women’s BBall is. God, I hope we can beat them at Comcast.

Agree, the announcers were terrible. I heard they were practicing to announce high school games later this week on AM radio.
