WBB Cruises to a 21 point mashing of FSU on the road

The Maryland Women's basketball team keeps playing in a way to earn your support starting the ACC season with a 91-70 thrashing of the Seminoles. Reigning ACC POTW Alyssa Thomas was solid again with 21 & 10. Tianna Hawkins added a double double of her own with 20 & 13 and Lauren Mincy went over 20 for the second consecutive game leading all scorers with 23. As is their habit, the Terps dominated on the boards with a 53-40 edge including 25 offensive rebounds.

The Terps will take on Georgia Tech at Comcast Friday night at 8:30 a team that plays a very physical style and that has typically given the Terps trouble of late. (Last season they won at Tech on a buzzer beating 3 pointer by Kim Rodgers and lost to them in the ACC Tourney.) Tech will likely come in at 11-3 assuming they hold on at NC State tonight. Their only losses are to #13 Rutgers & #18 Green Bay on a neutral court and at #14 Georgia. So this is no cupcake game.

I know they're not Jalen Tabor but come on out and show them some love, too.

GO TERPS!
