Random, Baseless Prediction: Feeling a Mychal Parker dunk coming on tonight. Not sure he does anything else of note, but with the amount of turnovers we'll see in this one he might be able to break loose on a fast break.
Prediction: I can't force myself to believe Maryland has all that much of a chance in this one. I don't think Florida State is that good and they'll probably be a bubble team at the end of the year, but they're riding high and look confident. And, truthfully, even if the Noles aren't very good, they're better than Maryland. The only situation I can see in which the Terps have a shot is if Terrell Stoglin plays out of his mind - and that's possible, but not likely. FSU wins, 61-54.
For today's guessing game, we return to Pe'Shon Howard: what's his combined total of points and assists (3 points + 4 assists = 7), with turnovers as the tiebreaker? Go.

FSU put so much emotion into that national tv game with college game day there that this is a huge let down for them. Maryland is playing much better of late so grab this inflated line. Why was Weijs in there so much in the 1st half. I mean he had some nice dunks but can he make a FT? We need some points out of Len, Mosley and Faust. Down 3 and only getting one point combined from those 3? Granted Dulkys hasn’t scored either. We will win the game if we can shut down Bernard James in the 2nd half.

I woulda put in the walk ons they were so bad. That kind of effort on the boards is pathetic and I know Turge will tear into that ass. Oh well, on to Temple.

Our bigs put together that kind of rebounding effort I say bench them all and play the walk ons. Dead serious.

The pick and Rolls weren't that bad
They just got beat time after time by the other more athletic bigs. Len especially has horrible footwork, but Padge too, looked like a couple of overweight high school ballers.

The footwork isn't HORRIBLE
but he just has one good play then peters out. Like he can’t repeat repeat repeat.
Basically
I thought Len was a lot more athletic than what he showed tonight. Still needs a lot of work, which I should have known, but in the first couple games he showed great help side defense and moved better. Maybe his goldfish died, but this game and the NC State game weren’t his strongest efforts defensively. That goes for the entire frontline. We fouled instead of moving our feet.

Completely agree. Our guards should not be demolishing our bigs in rebounds
We need to learn to box out and step up the intensity. When we do box out we’re soft as shit. GUARD THE BALL
Tough loss....
But we already knew this was going to be a challenging year. I’m disappointed in our bigs…they got completely outplayed in the paint. But if they can learn from this and use it to play more aggressive in the future then we’ll be fine.
