Bradford Gone (According to Sun)
Source: Maryland negotiates buyout with defensive coordinator Todd Bradford

Maryland has completed a negotiated buyout of defensive coordinator Todd Bradford's contract -- clearing the way for the school to hire a replacement.
The Sun reported Dec. 22 that Bradford -- whose defense ranked last in the Atlantic Coast Conference, surrendering an average of 34.2 points and 457.2 yards per game -- was likely out.
The school has now reached a buyout agreement with Bradford, according to a source with knowledge of the negotiations. The terms are not yet public.

Can I get an AMEN!
I knew that since Edsall was staying he would have to sacrifice a few of his staff to at least try and keep us happy. With both OC and DC gone now and recruiting seemingly on an upswing, maybe we can start feeling better about the direction of the program.
So who will new DC be? I also noticed that PSU has filled out most of their staff (keeping LJ and Vanderlinden) so it doesn’t look like they have a job for Fridge unless he becomes QB coach (which could be possible).
And, according to the WashingtonPost as well!
And, it’s about time. Would be interested in finding out what’s the cost of the buyout.
Here’s the link to the WashingtonPost article.

Maryland DC Todd Bradford agrees to buyout terms
By Eric Prisbell
The news we reported last month — that Maryland defensive coordinator Todd Bradford was not expected to return — will become official on Friday. An individual knowledge of the move said that Maryland and Bradford have agreed to the terms of a buyout.
An official announcement from Maryland is expected later today.
Bradford served as defensive coordinator at Southern Mississippi before being named a linebackers coach at Maryland last winter following the arrival of Coach Randy Edsall. But the sudden departure of defensive coordinator Don Brown, who left for the same position at Connecticut, prompted the Bradford’s promotion.
Bradford presided over a defense this past season that was decimated by injuries. The Terrapins, who finished 2-10 overall, ranked 110th in rushing defense, 108th in total defense and 103rd in scoring defense.
Who is your choice to replace Bradford?

Goldman eliminated us
if someone wants to write up a fanpost. ESPN recruiting is reporting he is down to Miami, FSU, Auburn and Alabama
We must give credit where it's due
Corrective action has been taken. Our AD has facilitated the process, coach has moved on. I give big points there. We all knew it should (and had) to happen, I’m glad RE made it happen.
We’ve moved on, and thing are looking new and fresh, fresh as Lox….
