Da'Rel Scott makes the cut
Da'Rel Scott made the Giants fifty three man roster today. Considering the competition in the backfield and how well Andre Brown was doing in camp it is a pretty impressive accomplishment. It will be hard for the Giants to keep him off the field based on his pre-season performance.

"RB (4) -- Ahmad Bradshaw, Brandon Jacobs, D.J. Ware, Da'Rel Scott. Comment: Scott, team's seventh-round draft pick, showed too much pure speed in preseason to let him go. "

That brings up a good thought
I wonder who is the Gary Williams of college football. Someone who can produce wins without great Nba talent.

honestly
les miles. always has a top 10 team, and the best former lsu player in the nfl is joseph addai (it might be peterson, but he hasnt done anything yet)
Les Miles
still gets big recruits that might not just pan out in the NFL but are still huge recruits unlike Gary who had nowhere near as high-profiled recruiting classes (barring the 2003 class).
