Terps Football in Bottom 10?

Mark Schlabach has our Terps as the number 5 team in his "Bottom 10" for this week.  I, for one, had never heard of this list before, but it looks like he just picks the BCS conference team that had the worst/most embarrassing loss that week.  It seems like it's intended to be a semi-humorous piece, but it's still pretty embarrassing that we're listed down there.  Hopefully we turn this season around.

On a side note, has anyone else noticed that since the Miami game, people have just criticized the fact that we change our uniforms every week?  The buzz around the new uniforms seems to have backfired.  If the team can finally step up and get everything together (hopefully while the "Kenny Tate is a linebacker" experiment ends), I feel like writers will start to say that the new uniforms are great.  For the time being, though, people are just hating on the uniforms, which is just creating negative buzz around the program.

Anyways, this is all just making me more excited for basketball season.  I'm a student studying abroad this semester, and the first game after I get back for is the Duke game.

No...

the real problem is that you hired Randy Edsall and not Mike Leach

The #5 team is always a prominent name team, which is having a bad week.

1-4, and 6-10 are always the North Texas, New Mexico, etc. teams that haven’t won in 5 years

the problem with terp fans

I think one of our biggest problems as terps fans is that we only show up for big games. Like in b-ball the duke game. You see duke fans, carolina fans, even wvu fans showing up for every game. The temple game was more than embarrasing on the field but in the stands it was even worse. Lets not give up on the football team and not wait until the duke game to get excited for the b-ball team.

Uniform link

says the game is SUNDAY at 3:30. Not sure if any of these kids will play on a Sunday based on that performance last week. Need to step it up with some very tough games on the horizon. Edsall will be at Looney’s in Maple Lawn doing his radio show at 7 tonight. Hope he says what we need to hear and then gets it done.
