So while I was dreaming of a top 5 class for 2012, I had a rather horrible thought. A top 20 recruit comes to the Towson game for an example and there is no one in the stands and we lose in a blowout like temple. Now I don't think that will happen with towson but that was used as an example. But seriously I'm pretty sure Turge probably will continue to use football games as a excitement builder for bball recruits and that kind of worries me. So far we have had one game that we really generated a ton of excitement over and most teams can generate excitement for at least the opener. And I just wondered what people thought because personally if football continues to be unimpressive with a lack of fans in seats I think Turge would be better off skipping the football games on recruits visits. Just wondering if this was a viable argument or if I'm missing something here.
