Edsall and Football...serious trouble

Stay connected for news and updates

After watching only two quarters of the Maryland-Temple game aka the ass whooping Temple put on the Terps. I think its clear. Maryland is not even close to as good as we thought they were. MD came out week 1 with loud uniforms, loud stadium and an impressive offense. Since then our defense is the worst in the ACC all around and possibly one of the worse in all of NCAA football. Maybe the loss of Don Brown is bigger then we first thought.

I am not going to start a fire Edsall post, but this is extremely disappointing after the Miami victory. Last week vs. WVU was a tough one, we can chalk that up too turnovers. At least Maryland showed some heart and coming back and making it a game and honestly could and should have won it at the end.

This game makes me disgusted with how MD played. From the opening kick off to the end of the game, MD played like they gave two F%&K's about playing football today. When you get your azz handled to you on your home field by a less then good team(dont get me wrong this is not the Temple of old, but come on) and allow them to do it, this is the exact reason why college athletes dont deserve to get paid, they didnt earn it.

My final venting words will be about recruiting, you can choke up this game as the reason on why MD will miss out on all the big name in state recruits. I would not want to play for a team that allows the Temple Owls to beat them like they did today. This is going to be a real long year, I am hoping for at least a bowl game now. To McCree and Tyler, you better be going to class and make sure your ass gets a degree because your playing days are over and you might just be working at 7-11, if they will hire criminals. Go get me a Slurpee while your at it. But Edsall will at least run a clean program....WOW.

Is it bball season yet??? In Turge we trust.
