With all of the realignment insanity, I figured it'd be nice to look into the minds of various folks and groups across the NCAA landscape, especially those involved in the great mess that is conference realignment.  Let's take a look ...

John Marinatto, Big East commissioner:  I hate this job.

UConn (in public):  We love the Big East.  It's a great conference and we'll stick around.  Syracuse and Pitt can suck it.

UConn president Susan Herbst (in private): OH PLEASE ACC TAKE US PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WE'RE BEGGING YOU!

Georgetown, Providence, St. Johns, Seton Hall, Villanova: Remember when the Big East was a basketball conference?  Meeeemorieeees ....

Rutgers: Hey Big Ten, hey ACC, guess what?  I can see the Empire State Building from my house!

West Virginia:  durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ...

ACC:  They like me, they really like me!

Big Ten:  That invitation is still open, Notre Dame.

Notre Dame, football team:  Independence no matter what!

Notre Dame, all other athletic teams:  The ACC is looking really good right now ...

Dan Beebe, Big 12 commissioner:  So long, suckers!  Thanks for the payday!

Colorado:  Ummmm, hello?  We came to the PAC-12 to get AWAY from Texas.

Texas:  We're awesome.  Nothing but awesomeness.  All awesome, all the time.  @#$%# ACC.  @#$% PAC-12.  @#$% Texas A&M.  Hey Oklahoma, what's shakin'?

Oklahoma:  I hate Texas.  I really, really hate Texas.  And now I hate the PAC-12 too.
