The story says that his decision is coming soon. No real solid information in the write up except for saying that he will be deciding soon (but with no real date.) The thing that was interesting is that Maryland was not mentioned once in the story. I don't know if this was lazy reporting or if Maryland is not a contender for Macon's services at this point in time. Macon seems like the type of athlete that would help the 2012 team in transition and locking down the paint on defense.
I would prefer Carter or Jefferson to Macon but each UMD target that commits elsewhere really makes me nervous that the 2012 recruiting class is not going to add another top 50 player.
