Since there has been so much football talk going on the past couple of weeks due to the overwhelming response from the MD State Flag Football Jersey's I feel that Bball recruiting has been dormant. I have lost what is going on with where MD stands with several top targets and where we are with many "Option B" targets since football started.

With the 2012 class consisting of Seth Allen, Shaq Cleare and Jake Layman, MD still has six open scholarships for 2012 or a total of seven between 2012 and 2013. With three taken this leaves at least two to three more for 2012, unless we truly feel that the Harrison Twins are coming to CP, which then we can only take 2 more for 2012.

Since we have a wing, a 3/4 tweener and a big in the class so far, where does MD focus on the remaining two spots? I feel we need another tweener and another big. What targets are still considering MD, with the news of Grant to Syracuse and Upshaw cutting MD off his list. This leaves McGary, Jefferson, Carter, Macon, Henderson, Sanders, Nolan and Dingle. Is there anyone I have left off the list?

I believe regardless of who commits MD needs to retain at least two scholarships for 2013 given the talent in the class, unless we are able to land McGary, Jefferson and another top 100 guy.

Who do you see MD landing to finish out the 2012 class? I feel its going to be some less sexy names then McGary and Jefferson, but hopefully I'm wrong. What's your thoughts?
