Not sure if this has been discussed yet, after that devastation that was MD-WVU, but ESPN is reporting that in 2012 Coaches vs Cancer will be moving to Brooklyn and taking placing at the Barclays Center, which means our Terps vs. Kentucky should be a part of the first Coaches vs Cancer event in the new arena.
Pretty awesome we are in the inaugural event, but I love college basketball in MSG, and with the move of Coaches vs Cancer and the demise of the Big East looking somewhat inevitable, the future of college basketball in the Garden isn't looking too promising. Maybe the ACC tournament could go there, or even better, a final four (very unlikely as NCAA wants max revenue and thus goes for the dome football stadiums with 70,000+ capacity).
