The outlook for Maryland basketball this season is, well, one of guarded optimism at best. For that guarded optimism to become reality, one (hopefully all) of the 2010 recruits who saw limited PT will have to have a break-out season. Which of those seldom-used players in the 2010 class is in the best position to do that?
Berend Weijs, a JC transfer last year, who saw a fair amount of PT spelling Jordan Williams, but is thin compared to other centers the Terps will face.
Mychal Parker, a SF who saw very limited action, but was the highest-ranked (4-star) player in last year's class.
Ashton Pankey, a 3-star PF who saw only three minutes of action last season, and missed his entire senior year in high school due to a leg injury.
