And so it begins.... A slew of new offers for 2012 - BBALL

Well this was bound to happen.  Now that Hawk has left to pursue a professional career, we have another scholarship available for 2012.  Everyone and their brother is predicting us to hand out 6 scholarships next year.  I personally love extending offers to both of these individuals.  It looks like Turge is going to try and address a wing player (i.e SG/SF).

Testudo will also offer Terry Henderson, a 2012 SG from North Carolina. He's had a really big summer.
Testudo White has recently picked up offers from Texas, Louisville and West Virginia. Bob Huggins was on hand Sunday to watch White play.
Testudo Will try to confirm w/ another source, but it appears the have finally offered 2012 wing Andrew White.

We already have connections with the Miller School.  That is where M. Parker went to school.  Didnt Baru go there as well?  A top 100 player and a 4 star who is 6-6.  YES PLEASE.

Henderson might be more of a reach in some people's eye.  He is only a 2 star prospect at the moment but apparently he had a really big summer and if that is the case look for him to move up the rankings similar to Seth Allen.  He has decent size at 6-4.

Keep in mind that there IS NO WAY that MD lands 6 players who are starter material i.e 4/5 star players the min they walk on campus.  With 6 scholarships to hand out look for atleast 2 of the players to be role players for 2-3 of their 4 years.  Especially is we recruit over them, which is very likely at the SG position (twins).  All in all I like the move.  We have a roster to build up and as long as we arent reaching for players I dont mind it.  Both of these players have big time programs (ACC, Big East, SEC) after them currently.  We arent talking about a player whos best offer besides MD is JMU.

Here is rivals eval on both:

Wow.  White has about 25 offers.
