Ok so I got really tired of everyone getting so impatient and acting like the sky was falling because we havent landed any of the 20 four and five star players we are currently after.  I did a little research and here is how the ACC stands on comittments for the class of 2012.  All of the rankings are according to ESPN.  Keep in mind that a 4 star usually starts at the 93 or 94 level and a 5 star is at the 96 or 97 level.

BC, Miami, GA Tech - 0 Recruits

MD- 91 SG

FL State - 92 SG

UNC - 95 PG, 95 SF

DUke - 96 SG

NC State - 96 SG, 93PG

UVA - 94 SF, 94 SF, 93 C

Va Tech - 94 PF

Wake - 93 PG, 90 SF, 89 C

Clemson - 91 SF, 87 PG.

The sky isnt falling.  We have 4-5 more scholarships to hand out.  When UVA has the BEST class at the moment there isnt a whole lot to worry about.  UNC and NC State have put together nice classes as well but other than those three we really arent far behind.  For whatever reason the recruits verbaled very early last year and they are taking their time this year.  MD is not in a different position than any of our rivals.  Stay the course.  In the next month or so we will see a large chunk of recruits verbal as they want to get the process over before their senior year begins.  Patience.
