Like the rest of you, I was floored this afternoon when I heard that Gary Williams was going to retire.  My immediate reaction was shock.  Then immense sadness.  And since then, excitement, over the possibility of bringing in a new coach and a new era.  But before we drool over Brad Stevens and Sean Miller (my top two choices, BTW), we should take some time to remember and marvel over the man that brought Maryland basketball back to the top.
