From Rivals: There isn't much to report on the DeAndre Daniels front other than the intent of his camp to reevaluate everything again now that the spring signing period has passed. Kansas and Texas are still options, but apparently there is an opening for a wildcard school as well.
Why not us as the wildcard? We got the recruiters for it now. He's exactly what we need. A 2011 forward who can step in immediately and score from somewhere other than on the perimeter. In my opinion, this guy would transform us from an NIT-at-best team to a top-4 ACC team. If he wants to go to a major college, compete at a high level against the best teams in the country, and be assured of a good chance to play immediately, how's he going to do better than Maryland? Texas has like four forwards and 7 total kids in its class, while Kansas has a pair of 6-foot-8 signees already.
