And go back and forth on it with posters like me, I like the thoughts shared by strength and conditioning coach Alan Stein (Montrose now DeMatha).
Alan lays it out in his May 18th post in his blog about how certain players can truly improve through hard work with s & c, and others can get complacent because they are ranked high.
It just further reinforces my belief that i'll want a player who wants to improve his game any way he can. Of course, they'll still need to be a very good player, but may be a late bloomer, unpublicized, or have one physical quality making them a 4 star instead of five, or 3 star instead of four...
