I understand the need to defend Gary.  And at least one post was necessary (good one, Dave).  But, seriously, folks.  Yow's grating working relationship is widespread, public knowledge.  Even IF Gary did seek out candidates to tell them anything, it wouldn't be something they didn't already know.  

There is no need to respond when a senior administrator embarrasses herself by confidently promoting her new hire.  There is no need to respond when this Doyel, who has the articulation and powers of debate of a hyena, AND who was already clued in on the alleged 'sabotage,' spits forth.....whatever you call what he said.  

We have the high ground.  Yow confiding in Doyel is evidence enough.  I see no need for any of our fans to enter into a 'debate' with N.C. State fans. Their fans should calm down and realize what actually happened soon enough.  And if Gottfried works out, so much the better for the ACC.
