Greivis Vasquez had an ugly turnover at the end of the first quarter, just losing the ball. Hill took it and scored to make it 26-19. Vasquez, the rookie out of Maryland, rebounded by hitting his next three shots to start a 9-2 run. Mayo capped it with a fast-break layup for a 30-28 lead in the second.

So how long does Gillespie last?
4-6 years at best? Barring the chance that he resurrects both his career and the nc state program.
Is there any doubt that he references this press conference upon his exit as setting the tone with him and the athletic dept / director?

Gottfried? He’s kind of a wild-card… I think he made a smart move by hiring Dino Gaudio. I wouldn’t be surprised if he got them in the tourney sooner rather than later.
Still, I will always wish the worst for Debbie Yow’s moves.

Also, NC State is allowing Ryan Harrow to transfer...
