Justin Anderson Height

Dear Ben,

As I was reading your 2012 basketball target list and Justin Anderson's height was listed at 6'5". I like to look at people height due to the fact that most  players  are either 2+/- of their real height (for example Lonny Baxter being listed at 6'8, but his pre draft measurements are 6'6.25 (w/o shoes) and 6'7.75 (w/ shoes). Here is some info that I found that can help us understand JA's true height.

^This pic is when JA was 6'5/6'6 during the 09/10 season. Michael Carrera (#42) who is listed at 6'6 is about the same  height as him and both of them are maybe a quarter of a inch shorter then Mr. Crazy T Ross(#32). Also notable is the formally listed 6'9 Josh Hairston(#21) who is now being billed at 6'7 by the Dukies.

^This was made this season and as I noted in a different post, he looks a legit 6'7 ( w/o shoes). He clearly had a growth spurt, which was expected since he came in to high school at about 6'5. It looks like he grew about 2 inches since that is about the difference in this photo between him and Michael Carrera (#42).

So why is his height important? Well because Jordan Williams is listed at 6'10 and we all feel like he is really 6'8. So with JA coming in 2012 with some real height, he can be good asset due to ability to be moved around into various spots in our lineup. I personally like him at the 4 with Parker playing the 3 (this is if Parker reaches his potential).

What do you think?

I leave you with some videos of Mr. Chris Brown Mr Justin Anderson.
