Tallahassee North Florida Christian fullback Warren Hart scored his second 7-yard touchdown run of the game early in the fourth quarter and the Eagles finished off what it started Friday afternoon, taking a 69-0 victory over St. Petersburg Admiral Farragut to capture the Class 2A state title at the Citrus Bowl.

NFC (13-0), which won its seventh state championship, came up just short of equaling the state record of 77 points scored in a championship game. That record was set by Venice in the 2000 Class 5A state championship game, a 77-14 victory over Palm Beach Gardens Dwyer.

The second half of the game was played with a running clock after NFC took a 48-0 lead at halftime.
