We're 5-3, we have Pe'Shon Howard and Alex Len joining the team within the next few weeks, and we have five straight games which should be relatively easy wins ("should be" being the operative phrase) before entering the ACC season early next year.
We have the ACC's leading scorer in Terrell Stoglin, and we have, arguably, a signature win against a short-handed Notre Dame team, followed by a struggle against Mount St. Mary's in the last two games.
Some are talking about this being an NCAA bubble team; others are more comfortable predicting an NIT berth, and still others seem more concerned with simply showing steady improvement as a team, and individually.
What are the odds of this team making the NCAA Tournament? What ACC teams do the Terps need to beat to reach that goal? Do they have to beat Duke or UNC at least once; or will wins over Florida State, Virginia or NC State do the trick? What record will we need to have to make the Big Dance?
