Thanks for the update, Duck
Good to watch the progress of the successfu sports at UMD. Looks like Coach McCoy is building a nice program here.
A bit disappointed in Asper losing twice, but...
One was to post-grad beast Fittery, no shame there. His second loss to Yates from VT was via forfeit, so not sure what the injury situation is there. No point in wrestling a conference foe at less than 100%.
Jimmy Sheptock at 174 was a revelation, and Spencer Myers at heavyweight shows he may be ready to repeat his All-American status from his freshman year.
The brackets featured 10 ranked teams in a one-day tournament, so Sunday was gonna be a tough day on everyone just due to the amount of matches.
The sophomore class at UMd right now is a really, really good one. Not sure what freshmen and redshirts McCoy has, but he’s building a solid program that could be Top 15 for a long time to come.

do you guys know Nick Schenk?
He is my cousin and previously wrestled at Ok State. Our family trying to get him to go to MD to wrestle. Kids a stud
If he can hang in the room, it's the place to be
Sure, PSU is the national power on the East Coast, but McCoy’s silently building a monster at UMd.
